1. What Is a Managed Service Agreement?

A managed services contract is a formal agreement made between the managed service provider (MSP) and its client that outlines the responsibilities and duties of both parties including services the MSP will provide.  Some managed services contracts include service level agreements.  These service level agreements provide minimum response time and liability protection for the MSP.

My girlfriend's mother's laptop was a wreck that I had spent forever trying to fix. It didn't load, and when it did the internet wasn't working. After weeks of consternation I gave Mid-Atlantic a call and dropped it off to Aaron, who was nothing but courteous and professional. He had given me a price for the diagnostic ($75) and kept me updated with the progress of the laptop, informing me of his next steps in repair as well as his Plans A, B, and C.

The laptop is as good as new. Because of our open dialogue I knew he exhausted every logical option and troubleshooted to the best of his ability. I knock on wood that any of our laptops would need any fixing, but I am confident I know where I'm going next time such a thing happens.

I am extremely pleased with the service I received here. I brought my computer in because it was freezing up and the power button broke when I tried to fix it. I dropped it off and got a call three days later to pick it up. When I came back they'd not only fixed the software and hardware issues I brought it in for but also vacuumed it out, fixed (As best they could) a big crack that's in the side of my case, and removed some malware that was on my system.

But best of all they showed me how to fix the power button on my own so I wouldn't have to bring it in just for that again. That's a first for me from any repair shop and I won't forget it.

The staff is professional and incredibly friendly. The inside of the shop is clean and well lit. Highly recommend this place for anyone with a computer issue.

A week ago our laptop froze up on us and Windows would not load. We are fairly new to the area and I had no idea who to call. I checked here on Yelp and found Mid-Atlantic Systems. I am SO glad that I found them! I called and spoke with Cherie, and she told me to bring it right over. My husband had just finished a big project for an online class and needed to submit it by Saturday. I dropped the computer off on a Wednesday and Cherie had it fixed and ready by early Friday afternoon. She called me Thursday with an update (after hours by the way), and she said that she would do everything she could to get the computer fixed by Friday if possible. She resolved the issue and provided some good recommendations all at a very reasonable price. She was very kind and professional. We will definitely be using Mid-Atlantic Systems for all of our computer needs going forward.
