1. What Is a Managed Service Agreement?

A managed services contract is a formal agreement made between the managed service provider (MSP) and its client that outlines the responsibilities and duties of both parties including services the MSP will provide.  Some managed services contracts include service level agreements.  These service level agreements provide minimum response time and liability protection for the MSP.

They were extremely helpful and kind. When one of my laptop's hinges broke, they not only examined it but determined my laptop was still under warranty. They provided me with a box and label and instructions for how to send it back to the manufacturer, and it got fixed in good time.

My relatively new Dell Windows 10 business desktop crashed and would not reboot. At all. Completely dead in every way. I'm pretty handy with these things and can usually fix them myself. Not this time. I tried everything. I called Cherie & Kevin at Mid-Atlantic Systems -- which I've done a few times before -- and dropped the computer off to them 30 minutes later. I had severe doubts the machine could be salvaged. But hallelujah, less than 48 hours later, they called me and told me they fixed it. For $75! What an absolute bargain. They even managed to save all my data and applications. So I didn't need to waste unnecessary downtime reloading everything and resetting all of my preferences and settings. These guys are lifesavers! And very friendly, professional and helpful. I highly recommend them for any computer/systems work you need.
