Over 30 Years of History

Mid Atlantic Systems (MAS) is a Women and Minority Owned Small Disadvantaged (SDB), Maryland based business that was formed in 1987. The business was founded during a time when computer usage was just beginning to become mainstream. It was a time when most users were not very computer literate and the cost of computers was still fairly high so the business was more of a computer repair and small network setup center.
In 2006 the original owner sold the business and Mid Atlantic Systems went into an 18 month transition period where the new owner began to look beyond the break-fix business model in an effort to reach new markets.
The business was acquired in 2007 by Cherie and Kevin Tyler. The Tyler’s have over 30 years of experience in the commercial, and public sector marketplaces. Leveraging the Mid Atlantic Systems name and excellent reputation for service delivery the new owners began to re-brand the organization into a technology, engineering and management consulting company.
The MAS team uses its deep technology skills and leveraged partnerships to deliver end-to-end solutions to clients. MAS is unique in that it is a Managed Solutions Provider. The company has taken a managed services framework and wrapped it around customized solution development to bring creative, affordable business solutions to our clients. This framework is the cornerstone of our management and delivery methodologies and is the key to our ability to transform business organizations.
